Introduction

Titrit Centrale Agadir Association is a non-profit organization established on February 26, 2004. It consists of an executive board of 5 members, a board of directors of 10 members, and has a total of 750 members. The association focuses on training and supporting women, primarily in the Souss Massa region, helping them become leaders and activists working towards a just and non-violent world.

The organization develops culturally appropriate training programs to enhance leadership and democratic participation. It also collaborates with local organizations to equip women with the necessary skills to assume leadership roles within the family and community. Over the past decade, its training programs and tools have reached more than 5,500 women in the region, thereby supporting local organizations in their journey towards self-sufficiency and strengthening women’s movements in their communities.

Titrit Centrale Agadir Association is a national civil society organization exclusively for women, with the majority of its members being active women throughout Morocco. Since its establishment in 2004, it has played a pivotal role in training and empowering numerous women’s groups in the fields of human rights rehabilitation, combating violence against women, civic education, and economic empowerment.
